I am seeking to find the County and Parish of my ancestors John Tynan and Catharine Heffron. Catharine was born in approximately 1810. John may have been born around 1807. They had a daughter Mary Josephine who was born in approximately May 1836. They also appear to have had a son James born in about 1844; a daughter Catharine J. born about 1846; and a son Michael born in about 1849.
I have posted this on County Waterford because the Primary Valuation shows both "Tynan" and "Heffron" in Waterford.
I am appreciative of all information and assistance. Thank you.

Hi there,
You could try searching for their names in the 1901 census. This is freely available online. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/
You should also check the earlier land records called the Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38) for possible information. But you should ideally have a more precise location for checking this. The surname Heffron is quite unusual, so you might not have too much trouble finding that name.
Hopefully, someone in the local communities in the county will be able to help you further.
