you say................
I don't know for sure if they were married. They would have been as the Godfrey would have been Gorman as fathers name would not have been entered on the Baptism record by the Priest.
Waterford Way.............isn't that a Fishing area?
This is the Kew web site
The National ArchivesCivil Deaths are from 1864.
For a marriage for Ann you would need to search the Same site as you got the Baptism of Godfrey.
I did search for her and no results.Margot

Dave,
You said that you need more information about Godfrey after immigration, yes? There are many trees on Ancestry with details of his marriage and children. If you don't have access, let me know, and I can share some information.

Carolyn

Hi Carolyn,
Thanks for your reply. I have an Ancestry account too, and I've been able to fill in much of Godfrey's family tree post-immigration. You may have even seen my tree on Ancestry. That said, it's pre-immigration that has befuddled me. I've found nothing about him or his mother. Just a big blank.
Thanks again,
Dave Farrell

Hi Margot,
Thanks for your help. You've heard of Waterford Way? When you say a "fishing area" do you mean a commercial fishing pier or a place where people go to sport fish? The reason I ask is because I've seen no reference to Waterford Way in my research so I wasn't sure it existed. Yet my grandpa mentioned it often. His father (Godfrey's son) died when my grandpa was quite young, but my GGM kept the notion alive.
Thanks again,
Dave Farrell
