Would love more info on the Lynch family please.
Bridget aged 16y and her sister Margaret aged 18y arrived in Sydney 12 Jan 1850 aboard "Panama". Both were Catholic and orphans girls. Shipping records state both girls were from Waterford. Bridget was baptised in the parish of Trinity Without in county Waterford on the 30 December 1833, Parents were Jeremiah Lynch and Honora Dunn. Bridget's siblings Honora baptised 06-Nov-1836 St Patricks Waterford, and sister Catherine baptised 07-Nov-1838 St Patricks Waterford. there doesnt seem to be a baptism record for Margaret. What became of Bridget's siblings, are there any more? What information is available regarding Jeremiah and Honora.? Oh Dear, so many questions, so much unknown, just happy with anything you are able to dig upon the family. I have exhausted the records here in Austalia regarding shipping etc

The only marriage record I could find was 10 Jan 1805 St Patricks C of I Waterford Jermeiah Lynch to MARGARET Dunne on www.rootsireland.ie/ (a subscription site). This is probably too early & wrong relligion but it is St Patricks. There is no other info on the record.
I found 3 baptisms: Honor 6 Nov 1836 St Patricks R C Bridget 39 Dec1833 Trinity Without & Catherine 7 Nov 1838 St Patricks R C. On all three records the address of the baby is blank!
The 1901 Irish Census (www.censusnationalarchives.ie/ - free) has 373 Lynches in Waterford.
The Tithe Applotments (free) 1823-37 have 69 Lynches in Waterford but no Jeremiahs!
Griffiths Valuation (also free) has 3 Jeremiah Lynches in Waterford in 1851
You've done a nice job on ancestry - sorry there's not much here to add!

My name is Connor Lynch I live in the UK my grand father is Francis Lynch he was one of 10 brothers and had a sister called Rita. They were all from the Waterford area, and my grand father served in north korea I don't know wether or not there could be a common relative from either my grand fathers, father. Our family is huge at this generation I would not surrised if we are not related. I know I'm related to a Patrick lynch immigrant to Argentina. and a Patricio lynch from peru common ancestors of Ernesto Che Guevara Lynch.
Be cool to know if you know anything else.
