There is a record of the baptism of a James Daly with father Patrick in Westmeath 1854 on www.rootsireland.ie/

The parish is not Rochfortbridge but Devlin RC; father is Patrick but mother not Mary.

There is also a record of Joseph with father Patrick & mother Mary 1857 in Castletown Geoghan RC parish.

There is also a record of the marriage of Patrick Daly to a Mary in Westmeath in 1836.

I was too lazy to go through all the parishes a third time.

It costs to view the full record on rootsireland.ie but the marriage record will have the parish and Mary's klast name hopefully.

You could then search for other siblings of James & Joseph.

I have purchased some of these records sometime ago from rootsireland but had not considered the Devlin record.

I will check again on the 1836 marriage as that would be timely.

I am hopeful that someone out there can link these 2 Daly families as I believe I have tracked down Mary's brother's line here in Australia, and I know I definitely descend from Patrick. 

What I do know is that the offspring of Mary and Patrick were together here in Australia in the !880's and even acted as witnesses in a marriage of the other line.

My great great grandparents are Richard Power & Rose Daly from Cloncrow, Newtown, Tyrellspass, Co. Westmeath, Ireland.  They had a daughter Teresa Power who married a Thomas Marshall, who had my grandfather Joseph Marshall, who in turn had a son, my Dad, Tony Marshall RIP 1996.
