I had a quick look at www.rootsireland.ie and there are 4 baptisms for children born to a father Christopher and mother Catherine McCormick. It is a subscription site so I am limited in what I can see. As there are only a few records it would be a good idea to have a look and see if any of them are relevant. I couldn?t see a marriage record for the couple. Did Christopher emigrate? There are some burial entries on the site also, 4 in total. Again, they may not be relevant, but it would be no harm to look, at least to rule them out. You can increase your chances by playing around with the dates.

There are also some Clinton entries in the Griffith?s Valuation (1847-1864), including some entries for a Christopher:
