Kate:
I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland in Co. Westmeath and there were no Denis Kilmurray baptismal records. Most of the RC parishes in Co. Westmeath have records starting later than 1801.
The surname was found in Co. Westmeath. There were thirty Kilmurray households listed in the Griffiths Valuation for the coutnin the early 1850s.
You may want to consider DNA testing. You might have matches with others who have Kilmurray connections and have more info on the origins of the family in Co. Westmeath.
