Hello, my name is Claudio Mac Adden and I'd like to know some details about my grandparents. The only thing I know is that my great-grandfather, Stephen Mc Adden came from Westmeath, Leinster. He came to Argentina in 1881 and he married with Mary Margaret Cox & Duffy on 1886 in Carmen de Areco, Buenos Aires.

I looked at the Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Co. Westmeath but could not locate any McAdden records. www.askaboutireland.ie
I then went to the 1901 census www.census.nationalarchives.ie and searched in Co. Westmeath and found two families. Possibly one of the families was connected to Stephen.

One record was in Rathaspick civil parish and the other in Russagh civil parish. These two parishes are side by side in northwest Co. Westmeath on the border of Co. Longford.
I would focus my search efforts on that area.
