I am searching for the parents of John Keogh born abt 1819. He married Anne Conlan (born 1831) in 12 July 1856 and they had 8 children:

Martin born 1858 - married in America

John born 1860 - married in America

Patrick born 1861 - married Mary ?

Michael born 1863 - married Ellen Dalton(not sure?)

Thomas born 1864 - marriied in America

Mary born 1867 - ?

Joseph 1869 - married Mary Ellen Houliston in Aug 1896

Richard 1873-1896

Their son, Thomas was my great grandfather. Sons Martin + John immigrated to America as well. I have found that there were many 'Keogh's" living in the Rochfortbridge area in the 1800's, and my problem is in finding which family 'my John Keogh' belonged to. as well as his siblings. I have looked for a birth/baptismal record and have not found one that I think is his. Can you help? This is a brick wall I can't knock down!

    Can you clarify which Keogh you are searching for? I found the baptismal record for Thomas in 1864 which is below. Are you looking for the John Keogh born 1819? Rochfortbridge RC parish baptismal records start in 1823.

  • I am searching for the parents of John Keogh who was born abt 1819, but I'm not positive about that date.  I have also found the same results on Thomas Keogh that you did, as well as for his siblings. I'm trying to go back on more generation, but have little to go on. Thank you for your time, Roger! Maybe we can figure this out together!
