My great-grandfather, James Bryan was born in 1827. His parents were Thomas Bryan or Brien and Mary Murphy -- they lived in Camolin. Thomas was a miller and farmer. I have found James's marriage to Bridget Kavanagh in 1864 but know nothing about Thomas and Mary. I would like to know about brothers and sisters of James (Ann, Kate, Matthew). I would like to contact relations and know more about the area. Thank you, Michael Browne, for your message -- I have looked at Griffiths's valuation and the censuses.

Hello, I have family that comes from Northern Ireland. Here is my line and maybe there might be a connection somewhere. First, the name Bryan was Bryans in Ireland and my grandfather dropped the "s" when he came to the states. His fathers name was Thomas Bryans born 1845 and he was married to Margaret (Mary) Boyle born 1851. They had Annie, Willam, Robert, Mary, Andrew, Jeane, John, Thomas and James. I know James came to the states. He was born about 1896. I have been searching for any of the remaining family that stayed in Ireland. I believe William and Andrew came to the states about 1910 arriving in New York. But I lost their trail after that. Anyway, this may not be the people you are looking for but they may be relatives/cousins. If you find any connection I would love to hear from you.
Thank you
Shawna Judd
