My great grandparents were John KAVANAGH and Rosanna DOYLE, who are recorded as residing in Killowen, Ballydarragh, Wexford at the time of their marriage on 27 Jan 1864 (both being btw 23-25 years old).
BUT, records also show that their first child, Annie KAVANAGH was born on 21 Oct 1863, in Kingstown, (Bray), Dublin, and remaining children's birth registrations were all in and around Rathdown, Dublin. Did my great grandparents go home after first birth, to get married?
John KAVANAGH's father was also John, and he married someone with BYRNES as maiden name. I cannot locate forename.
Rosanna DOYLE's parents were Pat and Rosanna DOYLE (I cannot locate mother's maiden name).
I am interested to see if any one can help me to identify where John and Rosanna's parents full names and where they lived. I assume they came from Wexford.
Also intersted in any other siblings of my great grandparents.

Hello Coynie,
I am always happy to hear from someone whose ancestors came from Co. Wexford, especially with the surname, "Doyle". Unfortunately, the given name, "Rosanna" is nowhere to be found in my family. Nor are the place names which you mentioned.
Don't give up. There is always more information around the corner.
All the best,
Father Joe

I am seeking information on my Great Grandmother Ann Kavanagh born 27 March 1832 and died 13 July 1873 in Buffalo, Erie County, NY USA. She married Jean (John) J. Kemp in Buffalo, NY. We know she had a brother named James and they came to the US together. Also, Her mother might have been Mary Murphy married to James (Jacob) Kavanagh. This is all the information I have but we were told she came from Wexford.
Thank you
