Miles and Doolan family

I have this post on the Wexford County area from 2012-- I am now updating it with further information.

After researching several records in the USA I am now trying to find out more about this family in Ireland

James Miles (Myles) born @1815 married @1834 Bridget Doolan (Doolen) born @1815

Son- William born January 1837 at Parish of Rathnure county of Wexford according to his statement on his US Civil War Pension records. He also states that he immigrated with his family to US via New York in @1848.

Son- Patrick born @1841 county of Wexford states that he immigrated with his family to New York in 1849-1850.

A brother to James Miles is William Miles born @1810. He is living with James in Ontario Co NY in 1855 and declares on his Naturalization declaration papers that he was born in Parish of Killan county of Wexford. He states he immigrated from the city of Wexford in 1849.

I believe this family of of Roman Catholic faith. Have previously contacted the secretary at the Ferns Diocese who then contacted the Rathnure parish priest. There has been no response to request for research, either by mail, email or telephone.

Someone had contacted me and said that St Anne's Rathnure records do not exist for my timeframe and that Cloughbawn/Killegney parish is what I need.
