A reverse feature so the foreigners could access a database

Hi,

 First off, I am sorry, I could not find the new post tab for this county so I had to put this post as a reply. If someone at IRO knows the correct spot for this new post then go ahead and move this post to that spot., that would be fine.

 I am the gg grandchild of Bartholomew O'Connor/Connors and Margaret Doyle. Bartholomew was born about 1808 and Margaret about 1819. The only thing pointing me to county Wexford as their place of birth is that on their tombstones their sons had written "of Wexford Ireland"

 Their 1st born son was Patrick b. 1844 and then Denis b. 1845. They immigrated to Canada in 1847 and their next child was Mary born 1848. They farmed and raised their family in East Camden, Ontario, Canada. The rest of the children were Bartholomew b. 1850, John b. 1852 Margaret . 1854 and Thomas b. 1856.

 I am descended from Bartholomew b. 13 Feb 1850

 In the Candian records I have located on Bartholomew he uses O'Connor and Connors interchangably. In the parish register all but Thomas were baptized as "Connors". Yet all the children who married used O'Connor as their name and passed that name on. Bartholomew's death register said "Connors" but the children had O'Connor put on the gravestone. So I have no clue what he was born with, O'Connor or Connors. All I know is that Wexford is not the ancestral homland of that clan. But is it of the Doyle clan.

 I know nothing of the family in Ireland, no names of either of their parents or siblings.

I know this has nothing to do with your post Colm, but I'm unable to locate anywhere within the site how to post a new message.  So, I apologize for tailgating on your comment.

I am looking for information on my great-grandmother Mary Radford, born around 1836.  Her obituary states she was from County Wexford, with no further information.  She immigrated to America and settled in Baltimore, Maryland.  She married Michael H. Russell (from Co. Tipperary) and they had 8 children:  Peter, Mary, Margaret (Maggie), Ellen (Ella), Catherine (Katie), Anna, Joseph and Lizzie.

My great-great-grandfather was Edward Bolger. His tombstone and obit say he was from Wexford, Ireland.

He may have married more than once, and sometime before 1850, he apparently emigrated to the United States and made his home in Dodge County, Wisconsin. He may have been accompanied at that time by several of his children, but I'm unable to find any immigration info on Edward.

In 1848, his wife Mary nee Doyle (designated W) on the ship manifest, emigrated on "The Margaret" from Waterford Harbor with their 7 youngest children. Of these, my great-grandfather was James F. Bolger.

The Edward Bolger family appears on the 1850 census in Portland Dodge County, Wisconsin and includes all these children who came over with Mary.

I assume that Edward is the same Edward Bulger of Begerin (Loyd) in the Tithe Applotment List.

There is a possibility that his first wife was Winifred Shea.

I would like to share info/connect with someone in that Cushenstown/Old Ross area who can give me some help.

There are no extant records of Baptisms in the Catholic records of Cushenstown for the time frame when these 7 children were born.
