Looking for evidence of birth Richard Steele and sister Lydia Margaret Steele born 1773 and 1770 respectively said to have come from "Kyle, Wexford" but we do not know parish details. We have located a Kyle area near Oulart but can not confirm this is the location or where the family may have lived/worshiped.  Lydia Margaret Steele married John D'Acre (sometimes spelled Dacre and some descendants changed this to Deaker). Richard Steele went to the West Indies with two brothers, they may have gone to the East Indies first. The families may have been associated with the Methodist church - later generations Lydia Margaret's daughter Lydia Dacre married a William Clendinnen who was a Methodist.

Hoping for link with fellow Steele hunters
