Does the roadside memorial to Fr. Thomas Clinch still exist? I could spot it using the google earth road tool, but the M11 highway construction seems to have disrupted the area where it once was. Can anyone update me. My borhters and i visited the spot in the 1980's under the escort of Mr. Sean Sheehan. It was about 5 kilometers south of Vinegar Hill on the east side of the road, about one meter tall stone cross with iron railing.

It looks like the memorial to Fr. Clinch is still in place - it's located about 100m, east of Mye Cross Roads aka Cross of' Mye.

The memorial is on the boundary of two townlands - bt primarily in Ballycourcy Beg, the location is about a few 100 metres east of the N11 roadway developments.

The memorial is visible on Google Streetview, although not legible it's in the correct location as described in details of Fr. Clinch.

I've attached below a view of the memorial from Google Street View dated 2017 (i.e. after the N11 works), and also a historic map showing the approximate location, along with a modern map and an area overview.
