Susan married William (?) Cousins/Cousan in 1840....William (Born 1809 or 1820 or ?) (Died circa 1864)
Susan and William had a son, William (Born January 1848 [?] - Died 22 August 1877 in New Orleans, La. of smallpox)
Susan came to USA as a widow arriving in New Orleans (Lord Sandow Ship???) January 1 1850. The ship's manifest states that along with her were John Peter (B 1841), Patrick (B 1850) and Richard M (B 1845). Yet, 8 months later in August the US Census lists a Susan with John Peter, no Patrick, Richard M and a William (B 1848 in Wexford). In addition, a Jane Hull is also present in the household!
On 19 September 1872 William married the daughter of a John and Mary Fagan/Feagin (Born 2 January 1853 either in Ireland or New Orleans) (Died 2 August 1929 Mobile, Alabama). They had three daughters, only one, Katherine Susan survived infancy (B 2 Feb 1878- Died 10 November 1964 in Mobile, Alabama). Katie married Ben Helm Gray on 9 April 1901 in New Orleans. Like William, Katie's father, Ben worked on the Rail Road. (Ben born 22 October 1870, Glendale, Kentucky-Died 6 January 1965, Mobile, Alabama.
Ben and Katie had 5 children, Gladys [their oldest] was my beloved grandmother.
