Looking for any information on John DUNN and his parents and siblings. John was born in June 1836 in Wexford, according to Census records.
He married Mary FORTUNE 16 Oct 1859. Their first child, Catherine, was also born in Wexford in July 1861.
They moved to Lancashire, England by 1871 and then on to the US in 1888.
John Dunn’s father was Patrick Dunn, listed as a fisherman on John’s RC marriage certificate in 1859. This is the only information I have on Patrick Dunn.
Mary Fortune’s father is noted on the marriage certificate as Garratt Fortune, farmer. Her mother’s name was Ellen, noted on Mary’s death certificate from the US. Mary had a sister named Ann.
I have information on John and Mary’s children, but nothing on John and Mary or their parents. I’m trying to locate their Parish and perhaps Baptism records and the marriages of their respective parents and siblings.

Do you know much about their emigration?
