I am a member of a Murphy family in Australia and looking for information.
I believe that Stephen Murphy and Mary Doyle both born in County Wexford.
I think they moved to Ketch Harbour, Nova Scotia before their son, Walter was born about 1800.
Walter married a Mary Conners November 17. 1820 in Ketch Harbour Halifax.
I am looking for more information on Stephen and Mary.
