I am looking for information on John McGrath and Alice Furlong who married 13 Jun 1831 in Rathmacknee.  Their residence in 1841 was given as "the Mountain."  Does anyone know what mountain that would be?

Their son John was born around 1838.  The family legend is that he beat up his schoolmaster and stowed away on a boat to America.  What we do know is that in 1852 he emigrated to the United States taking up residence in Buffalo New York.

    or the later Griffith's Valuation (1848-64) http://www.askaboutireland.ie/griffith-valuation/

or the Church of Latter Day Saints (LDS) https://familysearch.org/ for your relatives?
