His father was John Christopher Gunning Firefighter and his mother was Esther Fox. My father’s family lived on Dargan St, Ringsend as well as Bray. My father had 3 sisters Lillie married to Dennis O’Sullivan of Bray, Winnifred married to Jimmie Campbell lived in Belfast and Esther who was married to Joe Fields also lived in Belfast.
