My sixth great grandfather, Thomas Burtchaell, was born in 1690 and died in 1769 in Wells. He married Anne Lee in 1743 and they had four children: Anne, David (b. 1744), Peter (b. 1743) and Catherine (b. 1750). His wife Anne died 22 Sept 1784.
His father was Michael Burtchaell (b. approx. 1648, d. 4 Oct 1732 Blessington, Co. Wicklow). His mother was Elizabeth Keyes from Blackchurch, Co. Kildare, and she died in May 1699. Their other children were John (b. Mar 1695 or 1696) and Elizabeth (b. 14 Jul 1698).
