Hi there,
My grandfather, Edward Cahill, of Grange Beg, near Dunlavin, Wicklow, emigrated to Australia in 1906.
I am trying to trace his ancestors and am keen to know of any information about this Cahill family. Would anyone know anything of the Cahill family from Grange Beg in the 1880s?
Edward's parents were:
Patrick Cahill 1836-
Mary Devine 1851-
His siblings were:
Daniel, Joseph, Patrick, James, John, Bernard, Mary, Brigid & David.
Edward worked in London as part of the Irish Guard before he left for Australia.
Thanking you in advance,
Marea Whitley

You can use the LDS site as I did to find your Morgan/Fagan marriage, to locate Patrick and Mary. Firsty search Patrick and restrict the search to Civil Registration - click on collections and select Civil Reg. When the marriages come up click on the down arrow on right of name and make a note of the place and reference. Repeat for spouse and look for the matching year/qtr and reference.
