My needs are to find family members of the Williams and Parke Families and any info. I am in the states, so visiting libraries is impossible. The Canadian census indicated they were Church of England/Ireland, Irish born and of Welsh origin. Maybe the Tynte family had property in Kildare? in Canada? maybe it was just his job to be steward, but it seems that was a position of trust...help, please and thank you.
Joseph Williams b abt 1789, buried July 26, 1849 Dunlavin Parish, Wicklow (dont know what cemetary)
Married (possibly 1819 in Dublin – lists Joseph Williams Elizabeth Park) only marriage listed anywhere I could find
Elizabeth Parke (Parkes, Park, Parks) born Ireland; her brother Robert Parke b. 1801/2 Wicklow (no record found info on headstone) d. Feb 19, 1872 Goderich, Ontario, Canada (He had a daughter Eliza S. Parke b. 1832 Ireland d. May 1, 1861 Goderich, Canada (headstone)) Robert may be the brother of Thomas Parke b. 1793 Wicklow, Ire d. Jan 29, 1864 St. Catharines Canada.
Children:
Joseph Williams b. Feb 28, 1828 Ballitore, Co. Kildare, Ireland d. July 5, 1897 Goderich, Huron County, Ontario, Canada (headstone info) cant find birth record
Ellen Josephine Williams (m. Mosely) b. Jan 2 1841 Tynte Park, Co. Wicklow, Ireland (baptism says dad Joseph Williams was the steward) d. Feb 9 1904 Goderich, Huron County, Ontario, Canada (her headstone said died 64 years, 2mos 5 days which would have given her birth Dec. 4, 1839
According to one article in Canada there is one other son and 5 more daughters. But have no BMD or names for any.
I suspect they emigrated to Canada after the father died, but have no proof. The article mentioned above also said they were in Huron Co Canada in 1840 so???
I have family info that says Joseph Williams fought with Wellington and was imprisoned in France and was released in a trade for French Prisoners by Empress Josephine Bonaparte. I found three Joseph Williams that lived, but have no idea which one he is, and military stuff is confusing.
Chris Lawlor indicated that Tynte Park info is limited for that time and does not know of Joseph Williams. I am on Ancestry, uploaded dna to my heritage and gedmatch.
Anything is better than what I have.

Parke burials in Ballitore quaker cemetery ...might be related to Elizabeth ?

You probably have this info on Thomas Parke born 1793http://www.biographi.ca/en/bio/parke_thomas_9E.html

Attached Filesnew-rossburials (1).pdf (119.49 KB)
This file is the New Ross quaker burials
There is a Joseph and Esther Williams
Record above shows Esther Fawcett as mother to Joseph Williams b. 1790.
I need to look into it as it might be a different Joseph , the other record for Joseph Williams says birth 1789.
Below photo of death record 1849 at Ballitore for Joseph Williams at Tynte Park. Says he was not a member of the Society of Friends so not a quaker ?

Just wanted to confirm that Elizabeth Parke is the mother of Joseph Williams and all Williams children? You know that for sure ?
Thanks,
Andrea

Andrea,
I thought you were on vacation. There was a Joseph Williams that was a quaker and was prominent in Ballitore. i spoke online at length with the quaker museum people and realized it was not the correct joseph. that joseph also was a prisoner of war, which took me down the rabbit hole as they say. According to what I found out he never married and had no children. Did not know he was born and died in the same years as my joseph (sr.)
As far as I know, Elizabeth Parke was the mother of all of Josephs children, but I have nothing that would say either way as I dont know anything, except her brother's name, Robert. The people buried with Parke name in Ballitore were 1719..kind of old . Elizabeth I would suspect was born nearish to when Joseph Senior and her brother were born..I would say 1799...ish.
Stacey...still looking at what you found...

Andrea,
Hard for me to read that record, what is the date of his death? Below is what I was going by especially because of the daughters birth record:
williams/parke
-
Joseph Williams (1828-1897) - Find a Grave Memorial
Ellen Josephine Williams Mosely (1840-1904) - Find a Grave Memorial
here are the headstones for Joseph (Jr) and his sister Ellen Josephine ( her headstone would indicate she was born in 1839,,,)
williams/parke
-
Excerpts from Josephine M Williams (m. Van Rossem) autobiography she was my great grandmother
The above, I believe is Joseph Williams (Sr.)
The above shows Joseph Williams (Jr.) involvement in Irish Home Rule movement.

Ellen Josephine marriage record in 1878 indicates she was 36 so that would mean born in 1842..I wish she could get her age correct.
The only passenger list I found had the following :
A Jun 18, 1833 Liverpool to NY ship Helen
Passenger list possibility for Williams family immig.:
Joseph Williams (Sr.) 44, Elizabeth 34, Mary 9,
Hannah 7, Joseph (Jr.) 5, John 3, Elizabeth 1,
Mary Dawson 28 (Williams maiden or Parke maiden
name or friend?), Ellen Parke 26 (Sister of Eliz? Sister
in law?)
I have no idea, and that would mean at least Joseph (Sr) and Elizabeth would had to have returned to Ireland for Ellen Josephine to be born.. and then go back to canada after his death???
And, this is the only index I could come up with for a marriage:
I was thinking that if Joseph Sr. fought with wellington and Empress Josephine was alive, he must have been in war between the years 1804-1814 when she became empress and then died.
thank you, much

Andrea,
Could I please get a clearer picture of the record you sent.. I cant read it and wonder if the dates match what I had. Did it say he was buried in Ballitore Quaker Cemetary? It isnt on Find a Grave if so. Happy Easter. Thank you for the help. Stacey

Andrea, I hope I didnt come across as appreciative. I AM!! I have been searching for that record you posted here but cannot find it. I cant read it and I dont know what the columns are headed. Could you please send it to me again with the headings. I think that is Joseph Sr. so would love to have my friend see if they can find a grave in Ballitore for me....
Appreciative,
