Michael b. about 1819 in Ireland according to US census married to Julia (Delonry spelt differently on different documents). B. about 1824 possibly from Kilkenney, Ireland. Immigrated to Pennsylvania US approx 1851 based on childen's births in the US censuses, Their children are John born about 1950 ire, James born about 1952 in PA, Ary born 1855, Margaret born 1856, Edward born 1859, Richard (my great grand father) born April 19 1861, William born 1862, Rose b. March 6 1868, Frank, Martin, and Thomas. There is a possibility that Michael's father may have immigrated to the US also but I am not certain of that relationship. I would love to find out where in County Wicklow this family came from. I would also love to hear from family still in Ireland.

I looked at the 1849 Griffiths Valuation survey for Co. Kilkenny for the name Delonry. Came up with five records with a variant name to Delonry. I used www.rootsireland.ie for searching. This is a pay site but the Griffiths data is free. You may want to check the site for the marriage record and the birth of the oldest son John.
