I know this is a shot in the dark as I do not have much to go on. My great grandmother, Jennie Murphy, was from Wicklow. At one point she moved to the United States. She married Eugene Otis Byrne either while still in Ireland or in the U.S. They had 6 children. I believe she was born around 1875. I deduced this from the date of birth of one of her children, John Francis Byrne, which was 5/6/1897. She died on 12/22/1957 in Massachusetts, U.S.

Do you know much about their emigration? The dates, the reasonwhy they left, who they may have travelled with?..etc..Generally more information was given atthe port of arrival rather than the port of departure. If you knew which city they arrived at (e.g.Liverpool, New York, etc.), this could be a good place to find more information. -And perhaps evenfind out an exact place of origin.
