  • Hi

Can you add some more information please - who were their children

There are several Fleming families in the area and this would narrow down the search

  • Hi Joanne

In a quick google search I see that you have a tree where John is listed as being from Co Kilkenny

What info do you have tolink him toKillascobe in Co Galway ?

  • Hi Martin

One of the children is a William Dominic Fleming (my Great Grandfather), who was born in 1874 in West Ham, London.

I have that his parents are John Fleming and Catherine Mannion, who were married on the 1st of October 1859.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks Joanne

  • Hi Joanne

In the parish records John Fleming married Catherine Mannion on 1 Oct 1859 Witnesses were Darby Ruane and Mary Mannion

They had a son Martin baptised 21 Oct 1871

This does not correspond with your information

I notice that you have looked at the 1881 English Census for your William Dominic

There both of his parents are born in London and his mother's name is Ann

I am unsure as to why you believe that they have a connection with Killosobe as the information that you have already points to their origins in London not Galway

Somebody else on ancestry has your family already researched with it looks like authentic parents : John born in West Ham married to Ann Scammerton

Best of luck in your research but it would be best to look at the records in London for assistance
