I know that you are based in Galway, but my grandmother's maiden name was "Cline," which I understand is a name common in County Roscommon. Do you know if any other counties in Ireland are doing something similar to your effort?
I have unsuccessfully tried to trace back my ancesters to Ireland.

Do you have any more information that we could use? You say her "maiden" name. Can you give us her married name? Did she always live in Ireland or did she emigrate? If she emigrated where did she go to? When did she go there (even approximate dates can be helpful).
Do you know if she had siblings?
