My great grandmother Elizabeth O'Neill left Ireland for Australia in the 1870s. Her parents were George O'Neill, a bricklayer, and Bridget Maher. A brother possibly, Ernest Albert O'Neill, went to the United States as well circa 1870. Would love to her from any relatives still living in Dublin.

This is just a small sample of the available directory's out there. PRONI stands for the Public Records of Northern Ireland. NLI stands for the National Library of Ireland.
