Seek information on Peter Tague b 1822 and Ann Reynolds, his wife, who were from Cloone, Leitrim.
Believe Mary Bridget Reynolds b 1842 Leitrim, dau of Daniel Carroll relative. She emigrated 1849 to USA
m John Carroll in New York.
Many Carrolls and Reynolds buried in the Peter Tague plot in Kingston, NY.
Primary interest is Mary Bridget Reynolds my direct ancestor. Don't know if John Carroll was from Leitrim.

Hi there,
Thank you very much for your query to Ireland Reaching Out. Do you know the name of the ship they emigrated on? If you do, then you might be able to source lots more information at the port of arrival. Generally details were taken at the port of arrival rather than the port of departure.
Have you looked for a marriage record for Mary Bridget and John in the US?
Also, check cemetery records in Kingston, NY. Once you know the date they dies, there might be announcements of the death in local newspapers. It's the small details that are important.
You could try contacting the parish priest in Cloone for information too. It's quite an early date, but it might be worth trying anyway.
For Peter and Ann, also look at the land records called the Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38). It might offer information about their parents and where they lived.
Best of luck in your reseach!
Kind regards,
Sinead Cooney
