Mary Allan (1824-1913) of Annaghdown, possibly Aucloggeen

Hello,

I am descended on my mother's side from the Allan/Allen family of Annaghdown - most likely William Allan of Aucloggeen.  My ggg-grandmother was Mary Allan (16 Apr 1824, Annaghdown - 26 Mar 1913, Saint John, NB, Canada).  She married  Patrick McHale (1816, possibly Kilmeena, Mayo - 20 Feb 1880, Saint John, NB, Canada) on 11 Nov 1841 in Annaghdown Parish.  Based on Griffith's Valuation information and family naming patterns I believe Mary was the daughter of William and "Betty" Allan of Aucloggeen.  I have been to the area once about 10 years ago.   I have since come to find (based on Ordinance Survey maps) that there is an old cemetery in the vicinity of Aucloggeen but I am not sure what information may be found there.  Aside from ther marrriage record I do not have any "facts" that tie Mary to Annaghdown.
 
Mary and Patrick apparently located to Pollnarooma/Rahoon shortly after their marriage as their first children were baptized there. Shortly after, Patrick emigrated to New Brunswick where he initially worked in the famous Albert Mines in Hillsborough, NB.  After some time Mary arrived in Canada with the two girls and the family relocated to the community of Quaco/St Martins in New Brunswick.

I have considerable information about Mary and Patrick's children and descendants but that is all I have regarding Mary's origins.  IU would be curious to know if any more can be found to establish her origins.
