Hi there,
Could you please post your message in the parish profile page for Ballintra here: http://www.irelandxo.com/group/drumhome-donegal
You should try checking the following resources for your ancestors:
- the 1901/1911 census records (freely available online)
- the land records called theTithe Applotment Books (1823-38) and the later and freely available Griffith's Valuation (1848-64). This can be found here: www.askaboutireland.com
- The RC church records for Drumholm start from 1866. These can be checked at the General Register Office (GRO), the National Library of Ireland, Pos. 4599, Church of Latter Day Saints ref. no. 1279237 item 10-11, PRONI Mic.1D/86
- The Spinning-Wheel Premium Lists (1796), where 7,525 names are listed for County Donegal. This can be accessed here www.failteromhat.com
Please make sure you link anyone else in your family who is interested in their Irish heritage to our site - and indeed anyone else you know of Irish heritage.
Kind regards,
Sinead Cooney

Carol,
I would love to hear about our family and share pictures. My mom Jane Eyring still keeps in contact with our relatives from Ireland. I am so pleased to find out that you were born in the same house as my great grandmother. I was very close to my grandfather, David Moore Hansen. My grandfather was a tease, as was my Uncle David and his son David. Always Joking around .He Hardly ever woould get angry and loved his children very much! He would say I was homely looking when he met the opposite (or so my mother tells). Some day it is my wish to go to Ireland. It looks so beautiful! To walk on the same land as my great grandmother would be the most wonderful thing to experience. Thank you for any information that you can give me. Just receiving your email means the world to me. My email address is lwilliams_91@comcast.net.
Best Wishes,
Lawrie
