  • David, sorry for the inordinate delay in replying, I have been asked to look at unanswered queries. No much help though, I think Castlegrove is a townland in Galway in Kilconly parish where baptism records start very late in 1871 (Civil records from 1864 are free online) There are a lot of Martin Naughton's born in Galway in the 1840s but no records for 1844 among those available.
