My g.grandparents Arthur O'Malley & Isabella Feely married in Aghagower church in 1870. They had 9 children and farmed in Ardogommon until c 1895-96. I have lots of information on the O'Malley family but have found little on the Feely's. A number of the Feely children who died in 1840's are supposed to be buried in Aghagower but when I visited a couple of weeks ago I couldn't find any of their graves. My g.g. grandfather was Daniel Feely married to Harriet, he was a civil engineer and farmer in Ardogommon.

Hi Geraldine,
Church records may be of further use to you. You can check the availablity of parish registers here: http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/fuses/rcparishmaps/index.cfm?fuseaction=showidrecords&CityCounty=Mayo&parish=Aughagower&churchid=1037 .
You may find it beneficial to contact the local parish office for assistance http://tuamarchdiocese.org/category/parishes/parishes_of_westport_deanery/
Some other links which may help:

You could try checking the land records called the Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38) or the later Griffith's Valuation (1848-64) for information regarding your Feely relatives. The Tithe Applotment Books (1823-38): Microfilm copies of the books for all of Ireland are available at the National Archives of Ireland (NAI) http://www.nationalarchives.ie/genealogy1/genealogy-records/tithe-applotment-books-and-the-primary-griffith-valuation/ or the Church of Latter Day Saints (LDS) https://familysearch.org/. Griffith's is freely available here: www.askaboutireland.com or here: www.failteromhat.com Failte Romhat has lots of other useful links you could try looking at.
I wish you the best of luck with your search.
Please make sure you link anyone else in your family who is interested in their Irish heritage to our site - and indeed anyone else you know of Irish heritage.
