Searching for information on Timothy Kelly & his wife Mary O'Connor Kelly

I have been advised that historically there were two Kelly families in Gower. One of those families would have left Gower in the late 1800's/early 1900s and emigrated to the US. The other family have also since left Gower with the last remaining member of the Kelly family, Tim More Kelly, dying rougjly 30 years ago. He left his land to his relations, also Kellys, in Lislanahan, Kilkee, Co. Clare.

Thank you very much for your reply!  It's kind of disappointing that there are no living descendents living in Gower anymore.  We sure would have loved to have met one.  Would you happen to know which cemetery the Kelly's of Gower might have been buried in?

The research I've done indicates that the Kelly's from Gower ended up in Cree, Clare, where they still live. I hope this helps.

I'm looking for information on an Egan-Kelly-O'Connor connection a generation or two later in neighbouring parishes.

My Egan-Kelly marriage was reported in the Clare Journal on 3 February 1862:

Marriage: On the 26th instant. At the Catholic Church, Doonbeg by the Rev. John Neylon P.P., Mr John Egan of Kilrush to Miss Anne Kelly daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Kelly of Glascloon, in this county.

I suspect that bride is the subject of this entry in the index to the register of baptisms for the combined parishes of Kilfearagh and Killard:

Can anyone confirm this or tell me anything more about any of these people?

Timothy Kelly may be buried in a cemetery near the village of Cree according to a story posted in a McCullough Family Tree on ancestry.com.  Many Kelly's are supposed to be buried there and according to the posting, his tombstone gives his age, place of birth (Gower) and the date of his death and it was given in memory of her husband by his wife, O'Conner.  The name of the cemetery was not given and I don't know whether his wife, Mary (O'Connor) Kelly might also be buried there.  If you can find out any information at all, it will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

I wonder if one person has read a worn tombstone as O'Conner and another as O'Connell.
