Henry Brown (born 1798 - 1800?) married Jane (Mary) Armstrong (b. abt. 1801) & moved to (Montreal) Canada before 1832 where their first 2 sons, William Armstrong Brown & Thomas Armstrong Brown were born. They had many more children and eventually settled in the Toronto area (Etobicoke). Family says they came from County Fermanagh. Did find a marriage record in Magheraculmoney Parish for 15 July 1825 for a Henry Brown of Kilskeery who married Jane Armstrong of Magheraculmoney Parish. Do not know if this is the same couple as Brown & Armstrong are common surnames. Looking for anyone who might identify their families of origin & location. Do not have birthdates or other specific information.

Hi Barbara, I can find no record of the marriage you mention, a few Brown / Armstrong marriages but not the Christian names,
If you care to repost the query there may be an area volunteer now as the site only commenced around 2012.
In reposting it assists to mention the religion as not all Presbyterian denominations have records online either and other religions such as Anglican or RC have gaps or missing records, also marriages did not always carry parents names etc, also some religions did not record the mothers name on baptisms.
