Looking to connect with Rochford / Rushford / Rocheford / Reatchford / Rashford

The story goes as follows:

Michael Rochford was born in Wexford to Garrett Rochford & Catherine Sullivan and around the age of eleven(1859?)  both? parents die of the fever so he is sent to live with his mother's sister Esther who may have already been living in England (Stalybridge, Ashton under Lyne, Cheshire/Lancashire).  I realise "Wexford" may have meant the city or the county!  Michael starts his family in Stalybridge then moves the family to Leicester.  I descend from his son George who moves his family to Montreal in 1906.

While our Rochford family group in England is now very small the North American group exceeds 180 people.  We would love to re-connect with our Irish cousins!
