Patrick (or John) Hurley, born 1809 in Rathkeale, looking for parents' names, townland. Any other info on siblings would also be helpful. John or Patrick (not sure of first name) married Ellen Hayes February 29, 1835 i Rathkeale. SHe was also born in Rathkeale, 1817. They had several children in Limerick; Mary b. 23 Dec. 1835, John, b. 1837, William, b. 6 June 1842, Patrick, b. 28 April 1845, Anne, b. 20 Dec 1847. Patrick (or John) emigrated to New York in 1848 possibly with daughter Mary, and Ellen followed in 1851.

Hi Nancy, I see the baptisms and there are two Williams, 1841 and 1842 so the first chap must have died. Ann was baptised in early Jan. 1848, the father is Patrick, the marriage would take place usually in the brides parish and I cannot see on in a search. Usually the marriage entry will only include the witnesses and no parents.
If Ellen was born in Rathkeale her baptism show be available as records commence in 1811, assume she was born in an adjoining parish.
