I am looking for more information on this family.  I know birth information and am looking for marriage information on the following family.

Peter Hoey abt 1805 and married Esther Connolly (Conly), born abt 1810.  They were married about 1832 and had the following children all christened in the Catholic church in Meigh, Upper Killevy.

Bridget 20 Jan 1834

John, 14 Apr 1836

Elizabeth, 4 Oct 1838

Myles, 21 Jan 1841

Anne, 11 Oct 1843

Margaret, 14 Nov 1846

Patrick, 28 Feb 1849

Peter, 25 Jan 1852

Michael, 22 Sep 1854

I only know more about Anne, who married a Thomas McQuade abt 1859 and had ten children, all born in Armagh.

Also, Margaret, my direct line, who married a David McCracken in the 1860's, possibly in County Armagh.  Margaret only had three children and only one lived to maturity.  Delia McCracken was born 8 Oct 1867 in New York City, New York.

I would like to know more about the other children, who married and when did they die.

  • Rich, you can find Protestant marriages here for free from 1845 under Civil icon, and all marriages from 1864 assuming they were registered, church records on the site are limited to 3 counties including Dublin, I see an Elizabeth father Peter married there, see a John father Peter married in Leitrim so it is not the easiest to say these are the same family, also they way was to marrying in the brides parish etc
