This family is my most elusive one.  I am looking for more information, birth, marriage, etc. for, John O'Melia, born about 1805 and who married Julia Kennedy, born about 1810.  One known child,

Mary Jane O'Melia, born 1845.  Mary gave her place of birth as Dublin on records in America.  I have no other information and realize that she may have only left from Dublin to Liverpool to come to America.  She married John Nicholas Clayton in New York City in 1866.

Updated information -

John O'Melia married Julia Kennedy on 22 June 1845 in St Mary's Pro Cathedral.  The witnesses were John Keough and Eliza Kennedy.  Eliza may be John's mother, sister or aunt.  Also, Julia's parents were James Kennedy and Mary Byrne.  I still have not found a baptismal record for their daughter Mary Jane O'Melia, or if they had any other children.

    Thank you for your message.

Do you have any information regarding Mary Jane's parents? Where they may have been from? You may want to begin searching in their native areas.

Here's a link that will allow you to see what Roman Catholic parish records (births/deaths/marriages) exist for Dublin City and where they are held.
