Hello, I'm looking for relatives of Michael and Ellen (Partland) Sheridan.
Michael was born around 1840, and Ellen around 1849.
Their children were:
Mary
William
Mary
John
James
Peter
Ellen
Thomas
Honora
My grandfather was Peter, he emigrated to the States in 1892. We believe his first stop in the US was Pennsylvania, where he had family. From there he moved to Texas before settling in Chicago.
Would love to find some long, lost kin!

Hi
The oldest records you can look up online to see where your Sheridan/Partlands may have come from in Ballinrobe is The Tithe Applotments (1823-1837)

Don't see any Partland names in Mayo, nearest families would be Roscommon
Next you could browse through the Griffiths Valuations dated 1850's

Looks like this might be the village, if you look at this link you will see Partlands and Sheridans living here- The Sheridan family names look a lot like yours (esp the last Sheridans listed)
