I am looking for my 2 great grandfather's home. Dennis had brothers named Thomas and Roger. Thomas left Ireland on the Nestor in 1837 and lived in Wisconsin, USA.
Dennis may have married Mary Ellen Gleeson in County Clare before leaving for the USA. He was born @1820 and died in West Chester, PA., USA in 1886.

My apologies, I'm back to you again. You might check the Tithe Applotment Books and the Griffith's Valuation for Killuran with regard to any family members with the Hayes' name. The library website has links to both of them and has alphabetised both via parish and via alphabetical order.

I understand your wanting to do this on your own and without incurring a lot of cost. I would highly recommend looking at the Clare County Library website. It is free and really one of the very best resources for local Clare information in the country.
