Hi Tom,

I did a quick search for you and found that Edward McBride and Mary O'Donnell had five children, Patrick 1877, Ellen 1879, James 1881, John 1885 and Bridget 1888.

I also found mention of a few children in the Donegal Genealogy Resources website.

The name Ellen is Eleanora and her mother is called Maria.

You should play around with the Donegal Genealogy Resources website - You may find some other things.  Aso the National Archives website (The census links I gave you) includes copies of the actual census in PDF form so you can save them.  There is lots of info contained in the Census returns such as the type of house be it 1st, 2nd or 3rd class,, how many sheds and outhouses belonged to the family and it will give you all the information - parish, electoral district, barony etc.
