My great great grandparents were Matthew Walshe & Catherine (Kate) O'Connor from Philipstown (now Daingen). I am seeking any information at all about their lives and family in that area please.
My great grandfather was their son, Thomas John Walshe (born 15 Dec 1850), who migrated to Australia in the 1860's with his brother, James (born 1 Jan 1837).
I believe other children in their family were Ann, Margaret, Catherine, Matthew, Mary & Pat.
Thomas became a very successful builder in the area around the New South Wales/Victoria border.
My husband & I are visiting Ireland in July/August 2013, staying in the Tullamore area & would dearly love to connect with people & places relevant to my family.
