John Lyons is my fourth ggrandfather. His and Agnes Pherson's daughter Rachel Lyons is my 3 ggrandmother b. 31 Aug 1795 d. 26 Apr 1870 Whitby, Ontario, Canada. Rachel married Thomas Park b. 4 Aug1793 d. 4 Apr 1864, Whitby, Ontario.

Thomas (yeoman) and Rachel had the following children (2nd Presbyterian Church records):

John L Park b. abt 1816; James Park b. abt 1818; Nancy Lyons Park 12 Apr 1819 Ballyatwood; Jane Gaw Park b. 2 Jul 1823 Ballywalter; Mary W Park b. 4 Nov 1825 Tullycavin; Hannah Park b. 10 Nov 1828; Rachel Park 1 May 1829 Ballywalter; Phebe Anna Park b. 3 Nov 1834 Upper Canada; Eliza Park b. 24 Jul 1836 Pickering, Ontario; Margaret M Park b. 16 Aug 1838 Pickering, Ontario.

Thomas and Rachel must have emigrated from Down to Ontario between 1829-1834.

I suspect that Theophilus and John Lyons of Tullycavin are Rachel's brothers.
