Unfortunatley, the chances of finding documentation pertaining to James' birth are quite slim as the reality of finding documentation pertaining to births/baptisms/marriages/deaths in Ireland prior to 1800 ? particularly in rural areas ? is that they simply may not exist. As the the Church of Ireland was the official church of the country the bulk of information that does survive for earlier periods is often from these registers. However, in order to know what register you need to check in, you need to know a specific parish that he was born in.

With regards to information on his death, you may be able to find his death cert. Most of these records are held locally, however you can see what records are available in the parish of Killerry at the irishtimes website. Follow this link:
