My husband's great-grandmother was baptized in Ardera, Corlough, Co Cavan in 1879. What parish would that be now? Her name was Alice Devine, daughter of Arthur Devine and Catherine Smith. She came to Chicago and married William Wragg.

Hi I Live in Corlough co Cavan and the parish is called Corlough, Arderra had a church at one stage but is now long gone there just stands a stone now where the church once stood, im sure all the church records were probally left in Corlough church you may have to contact our parish priest FR Tom McManus, there are still Devins in Ardera Corlough im sure they may be some way retlated. hope this helps
