John Bannon was from Moate, Westmeath, Ireland according to his marriage record. He was born about 1853 to 1855 to John Bannon and Bridget King. He moved to Scotland and married Elizabeth Sime (widow Donaldson) 6 Aug 1884 in Kirkcaldy, Fifeshire, Scotland. yRThey had 3 children Jeanie Bannon b. 1886, twins: John Anthony Bannon , Bridget Bannon born 20 May 1888. They all moved to Canada. Bridget lived in Belfast, Ireland for a short while, probably in the 1940's or 50's.
I would appreciate any information I can find regarding John Bannon who was my paternal g grandfather.
