looking for more information on james silver born 1803 or so who married honor ryder.

 

their son james was born in 1843 and later ran a bar in loughrea. he died in 1898 and is buried in the carmelite in loughrea.

  • i have just found the Ryder connection but my direct Silver lineage has died out. James Silver 1803-1898 had several daughters and one son who emigrated. he ran a pub in Loughrea from as early as 1870 and the family carried it on after his death through his wife and then daughters up as far as the 1940s. I think the pub is still in the family through another connection.
