Looking for any information on Evart Jones Whitten (1699 - 1736). I know the following:
Born 1699 in "English Colony" Ireland
Married Dorothy Tash ( 1711 - ??)
Imigrated to Virginia, USA
Death abbout 1736
It looks like Evart Jones Whitten was already in Virginia at the time of the birth of his son Charles in 1736, at the time there were no passenger records and civil registration did not start till 1864 in Ireland.
My guess is that Evart was born out of English parents in Ireland , unfortunately records are very hard to find from before 1700. Jones might have been Evarts mothers surname.
