Julia Johanna Judy Stapleton married John Cavin on November 24, 1841 in Drom, Tipperary. Or so I have been told. These two are my great great great Grandparents. Their progeny (my grandparent) ended up in St. Paul Minnesota, and my family is in Manassas, Virginia. With the information above, I would like to find more facts about the families. My husband and I will be in Ireland in April, and were wondering if the church they were married in is still standing, if there may be records there available to search, or any other significant point of interest to warrant a stop in Drom.
I tried to join a Tipperary group, but there wasn't one to join. I look forward to any information I can get, and I await a fine trip to the emerald Isle.

Hi there,
I just lookeda t the rootsireland website and there a listed record for johanna stapleton who married in Drom in 1841.
This is available to view should you wish to do so.
click on the left side of the page on county genealogy centres and this will bring you to a map of ireland. Click on NORTH tipperary and when you imput your johanna stapleton (only) with the date 1841 youll have a hit.
I know its drom parish because I went down the page to "parish/district" and clicked on the triangle on that bar.
Hope this is helpful to you,
enjoy your holiday,
