Does anyone have info on Margaret Doyle, my great grandma.
She married Patrick Duggan in Dublin and had three of her five children in Ireland before coming to Liverpool.
Mary Julia 1879 Dublin
Margaret Ann 1880 Dublin (I have found her record as being born 26th June in NO.3 South City, Dublin)
Kathleen 1886 Ireland
She was RC and there is a family story that her father was harbourmaster at Howth.
Any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Hi,
Thank you for your message.
Have you tried looking in Church records for information on Margaret? Most Catholic records are held locally. One website which may be useful is the irishtimes where they give an overview of what records are available in specific parishes. For Monkstown parish follow this link:
You could also try looking for the family in the 1901 and 1911 census records here: http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/
Here is a list of some other websites which may be useful. I have already listed some of these in my response to you on the Ballina parish page, however there are some new ones here also that are relevant for Dublin:

The National Library of Ireland http://www.nli.ie/en/family-history-introduction.aspx
